Taluk Level Sports Meet 2018-19

JSS Shri Manjunatheswara English Medium school students had participated in the Taluk Level Sports Meet 2018-19.

                                        Individual Participants and Winners

Gagan Nadiger secured first place in Hurdles, Long Jump, 400m Run, at the District level.

Kartik Vernekar secured second place in Disc throw and shot put at the District level.

Rahul Hasalkar secured first place in High Jump at the Taluk level and has been selected for District level.

Nihal Shetty secured second place in High Jump at the Taluk level and has been selected for District level.

Manali Naik secured second place in Long Jump at the Taluk level and has been selected for District level.

Nimisha Bagewadi secured First place in Shot put at the Taluk level and has been selected for District level.

The Football team under 17 boys secured first place at Taluk level and second place in District level and five team members have been chosen for the Divisional level.

Under 14 boys volley ball team secured first place at the Taluk level and has been selected for the District level.

Under 17 girls hand ball team secured second place at the District level and five members have been chosen for divisional level.

Under 14 girls Throw ball team has secured first place at the Taluk level. The Shuttle Badminton team secured first place in Taluk level.

It was a proud moment for the entire school to have secured overall championship (High School section) amongst the 67 schools that had participated.
