Dr. D.V. Heggade, the esteemed Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, has become a key figure in Karnataka’s cultural and religious landscape since assuming his role at the young age of 20. Overseeing the Lord Manjunatheswara temple, he adeptly manages a unique blend of Hinduism, Jainism, and Agamas, ensuring the temple remains a vital center for pilgrims and spiritual seekers.
In addition to his religious responsibilities, Dr. Heggade is deeply involved in philanthropy and social development. His initiatives in education are particularly noteworthy; he has played a crucial role in establishing various medical, dental, engineering, and management colleges, as well as numerous schools and colleges across Karnataka.
