The Annual gathering Sur – Sangam for the academic year 2017-18 was held on 30/12/2017 at Sannidhi Kalakshetra, JSS Campus, Vidyagiri, Dharwad. The chief guest was Prof. Ganesh Devy and Prof. Surekha Devi. The students captivated the audience with the Kurukshetra theme by portraying the roles of Sanjaya and Dritharashtra where Sanjaya keeps the king updated with the happening in Kurukshetra also relating it to the present states of India namely Jammu & Kashmir; Assam; Gujarat; Kerala and Karnataka through his vision into the future. On the whole this theme provided the students with the knowledge about these states in an interesting way.
