Japanese cultural festival Bunkasai was celebrated in JSS SMEM School, Vidyagiri Dharwad on 31st January 2023.
Bunkasai means annual open day in Japan wherein students from Nursery to Universities display their achievements in front of their parents. Children performed songs on numbers, week days. Month names were presented by the students. Eye catching Hula dance, clap dance, umbrella dance entertained the audience. Children from class 2 Sharad Angadi and Pavitra Badagi displayed their number skills in front of the audience.
Shinya Fukuda , Shinji Katou and Yoichi Itsuka were the chief guests for the event. They hailed from Japan and expressed surprise and contents looking and the students perform.
Dr. Ajith Prasad, Secretary JSS Institutions, Dharwad, praised the program.
