On November 25, 2025, JSS Sri Manjunatheshwar English Medium School celebrated the 78th birthday of Dr. D Virendra Heggade, Chairman of Janata Shikshana Samiti, with a cultural evening called ‘Bhoole Bisare Geet’. The event was held at Sannidhi Art Field, JSS premises. Dr. B.D. Biradara, Director of Education, Agricultural University, inaugurated the ceremony.
Notable guests included Dr. D. Ajith Prasad, Secretaries of Janata Shikshana Samiti, Mr. Arihant Prasad, administrative officer and Principal of ITI Mahaveer Upadhye. School Principal Mrs. Renu V. Patil and coordinators Nirmal Patil, Kamalakshi Sunankki, and Priyanka Naik were also present, along with teachers and parents.
Students performed popular songs from old Kannada and Hindi films, bringing joy to the audience. The evening was dedicated to Dr. D Virendra Heggade.
