On July 9, 2025, Shri Manjunatheshwar English Medium School, Dharwad, proudly inaugurated its school parliament for the academic year 2025-26. The ceremony took place at Sannidhi Kalakshetra and was graced by the presence of esteemed chief guest, Smt. Manjula Kolivada, a teacher at KE Board School and NCC head.
The school principal, Smt. Renu Patil, welcomed the gathering and emphasized the significance of the school parliament in shaping the future leaders of the nation. The program featured a prayer song by music teacher Ashwini Pattar and students, and Rajeshwari proposed the vote of thanks.
During the event, Smt. Kolivada administered the oath to the newly elected school bearers, emphasizing the importance of discipline and responsibility. She highlighted the crucial role of the school parliament in ensuring smooth school operations and fostering leadership qualities, healthy competition, and teamwork among students.
Through this initiative, the school aims to instill leadership skills, discipline in students, empowering them to become responsible citizens and future leaders.
